India Pharma 2026 to Showcase India’s Leadership in Life Sciences Innovation Posted On: 30 MAR 2026 4:21PM by PIB Delhi The Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), is set to organize the 9th Edition of India Pharma 2026 on April 13-14, 2026 at Federation House, New Delhi.The conference will serve as a strategic platform to accelerate the sector’s transition from a volume-driven industry to a value- and innovation-led global powerhouse. With the theme ‘Discover in India: Leapfrogging Life-Sciences Innovation,’ the conference aims to position India as a global hub for cutting-edge research and innovation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The theme underscores India’s commitment to enhancing healthcare access, accelerating innovation, and strengthening global health security. The event will bring together key stakeholders , including policymakers , global industry leaders , researchers and innovators , to deliberate on emerging opportunities in drug discovery, complex generics, and biosimilars. It will also showcase India’s robust manufacturing capabilities and its rapidly expanding R&D ecosystem, reinforcing its position in the global pharmaceutical value chain.
