Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 to commence in New Delhi on 18 March

The fest will be inaugurated by Shri JualOram, Hon’ble Union Minister for Tribal Affairs in the august presence of Shri DurgadasUikey, Hon’ble Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and other dignitaries on 18 March, 2026 at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi. Open to the public daily from 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM, the fest aims to provide an immersive experience of the diverse traditions, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of Tribal India through art, handicrafts, handlooms, cuisine and cultural performances. The Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 feature a massive showcase of tribal excellence with over 200 curated stalls representing 78 Van DhanVikasKendras (VDVKs) and 310 master artisans from across India. Visitors can experience the "Forest-to-Plate" movement through 120 tribal cuisine participants and witness the intricate process of heritage crafts during 17 live demonstrations. Adding to the festive spirit, over 400 artists will perform traditional dances and music in evening, offering a truly immersive cultural journey. The Bharat Tribes Business Conclave, scheduled from 19 to 27 March 2026, will serve as a premier platform for policymakers, industry leaders, and tribal enterprises to engage in high-level discussions on sustainable textiles, tribal food systems, and ethical luxury markets. This multi-day event will address critical themes such as innovation, the protection of indigenous knowledge, and skilling for tribal youth and women, all aimed at fostering a robust ecosystem for community-led tribal tourism and enterprise development. A significant highlight of this initiative is the CSR Conclave on 24 March 2026, which is specifically designed to bridge the gap between corporate institutions and tribal entrepreneurs, leveraging Corporate Social Responsibility to create lasting partnerships and sustainable livelihoods. A key highlight of Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 is the RISA initiative, where renowned designers like Ms. Anju Modi, Shri Manish Tripathi, Shri Gaurav Jai Gupta, Shri Sandeep Khosla, Ms. SameeraDalvicollaborate with tribal artisans.
