Reportedly, the incident happened on 8th March 2026. The Commission has observed that the contents of the news report, if true, raise a serious issue of violation of human rights of the victim. Therefore, it has issued a notice to the Delhi Police Commissioner, calling for a detailed report on the matter within two weeks. It is expected to include the status of the victim’s health and the investigation.
