Projects have been implemented in various States including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and North Eastern States, as detailed in the Annexure . The present status of each project (completed/ongoing) is also indicated therein. The following measures have been taken to strengthen the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework under the said Fund and to enhance participation of private sector and public institutions, including CSR contributions: For outreach to public sector, NCF organized a symposium- “CSR opportunities for Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) in Culture & Heritage” in collaboration with Department of Public Enterprisesin January 2025. NCF collaborated in CSR annual summit in October 2025 to engage with potential donors and highlight opportunities for supporting cultural and heritage conservation projects. Details of more than 250 identified conservation and cultural projects are given on the website of the National Culture Fund to facilitate informed participation by corporates and other donors. NCF supported initiatives have contributed greatly to the conservation, promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage across the country as it enables institutions and public at large to contribute to culture related endeavours thereby augmenting Government resources. NCF has mobilized CSR funds amounting to approximately Rs.140 crores towards culture related endeavours since its inception. There are no specific initiatives under NCF for a particular state or constituency. NCF exercises a Project Implementing Committee (PIC) mechanism for periodic review of the projects being undertaken through NCF, where all stakeholders, including the Donors participate. Meeting of Project Implementation Committee (PIC) under the Chairmanship of Director General, Archaeological Survey of India for ASI projects & Officials of NCF/Ministry of Culture for other projects, are regularly convened, to monitor the progress and ensure smooth implementation of the projects. Moreover, the accounts of NCF are audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India annually.
