Shri Bhupender Yadav announces Shekha Jheel Bird Sanctuary as India’s 99th Ramsar site; Uttar Pradesh’s tally rises to 12
For UPSC
Remember India now has 99 Ramsar sites (April 2026), with Uttar Pradesh leading at 12 sites; Shekha Jheel is in Aligarh district and lies on the Central Asian Flyway—a common question trap on flyway routes.
