The Department of Telecommunications will host the BRICS ICT Track from 17 to 21 August, with a working group meeting, a Digital BRICS Forum and Expo, and the 12th Communications Ministers' Meeting — the latest ministerial in India's Chairship year.
What happened
- The BRICS ICT Track will be held at Pune from 17 to 21 August 2026.
- The theme is 'Innovate, Cooperate and Transform (ICT) for a Resilient Future'.
- Three events: the 7th ICT Working Group, a Digital BRICS Forum and Expo and the 12th Communications Ministers' Meeting.
- BRICS now comprises eleven emerging market and developing countries.
- It follows BRICS tracks at Jaipur, Bhopal, Udaipur and Hyderabad this month.
