Six services under one roof: how Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 deliver nutrition and early care

Under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, Anganwadi Centres deliver a package of six services — nutrition and early childhood care for young children, pregnant and lactating women and adolescent girls — with modern 'Saksham' Anganwadis, digital Poshan-Tracker monitoring and a new Pankhudi Portal for collaboration.

What happened

For Prelims

For UPSC: A key nutrition-and-welfare item — the Anganwadi/ICDS ecosystem under Poshan 2.0. Use it for child nutrition (malnutrition, stunting, anaemia), the POSHAN Abhiyaan and ICDS, early childhood care and education, and technology (Poshan Tracker) in welfare delivery.
What it is NOT: This is a description of scheme services and delivery (a parliamentary reply/status), not a new scheme or benefit. Poshan 2.0/Saksham Anganwadi operate within the existing ICDS framework.
