- India hosted the 11th BRICS Energy Ministers' Meeting in Gurugram, Haryana, on 25 June 2026, under its BRICS Chairship 2026 and the theme 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability'.
- Energy ministers, vice-ministers and senior officials from BRICS member countries deliberated on global energy challenges and practical cooperation across the energy sector.
