At the 52nd PRAGATI review, PM tracks Rs 30,000 crore of projects, TB elimination and cyber-fraud

The PM's flagship governance platform reviewed four big infrastructure projects across four states, pushed PM GatiShakti data discipline, and took up TB Mukt Bharat and the fight against 'digital arrest' cyber-fraud via e-Zero FIRs.

What happened

• Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired the 52nd meeting of PRAGATI — the ICT-enabled, multi-modal platform for Pro-Active Governance And Timely Implementation that integrates Central and State Government efforts.
• He reviewed four critical infrastructure projects worth around Rs 30,000 crore, spanning the road, power, industrial corridor and metro-rail sectors across four states.
• The PM emphasised using the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan and the timely updating of project, utility and infrastructure data on the portal for efficient planning.
• He reviewed the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, stressing the need to leverage AI and the latest digital technologies, and asked ministries and states to resolve pending issues in mission mode.
• He also reviewed grievances related to cyber crime and 'digital arrest' fraud, stressing timely action, a coordinated response and the e-Zero FIR registration mechanism.

• Project monitoring: Since 2015, PRAGATI has reviewed hundreds of projects worth lakhs of crore, helping unblock delays through real-time, top-level coordination.
• Don't confuse: PRAGATI (project/grievance-review platform) is distinct from PM GatiShakti (infrastructure-planning master plan), though they are used together; 'digital arrest' is a scam, not a legal procedure.
